Approximate

The town of Dillon has quietly built a fantastic local trail network right on the edge of town. The Beaverhead Trails Coalition owns over 1,100 acres of land, which they have developed into a multi-use trail system that is perfect for mountain biking.

The trails here are generally smooth, fast, and accessible, winding through sagebrush and open grasslands. It is an ideal system for early or late-season riding when the higher mountains are snowed in. The network includes the East Traverse and West Traverse trails, which offer great flow and excellent views of the surrounding Beaverhead Valley. Access is free and open to the public.

Must-Ride Trail: The East Traverse is a highly rated, fast-flowing trail that anchors the eastern side of the network.
