The largest and most developed bouldering area in southwest Montana. The area boasts over three hundred established problems, ranging from beginner-friendly V0s to elite-level V12s. The rock is a featured gneiss, offering a wide variety of styles, from steep overhangs to delicate slabs. The approach is a short, twenty-minute walk from the parking area.

Be careful of private property in the area.

  • Season: April to November
  • Key routes / problems: The Prow (V4), Whiskey Sour (V6), The Fin (V8) Confirm current access, seasonal closures, raptor restrictions, and avalanche conditions before you climb. Climbing is inherently dangerous—this guide is informational, not instruction.
