A spectacular alpine bouldering destination located in the Tobacco Root Mountains. The approach requires a long, rough four-wheel-drive road followed by a challenging hike. The setting, directly beneath the summit of Hollowtop Mountain, is stunning. The rock is high-quality gneiss, offering a range of problems, including two classic V9s that make the arduous approach worthwhile.
The area is high elevation and requires a hike after the 4WD road. Snow can impact access and climbing conditions. Some problems may be highball without snow.
