A popular bouldering and cragging destination located in the Bitterroot Valley. The bouldering is concentrated on large granite blocks scattered along the canyon floor. The climbing is characterized by sharp crimps and technical face moves. The area is particularly known for its high-quality moderate problems in the V3 to V7 range.
The Bitterroot Climbers’ Coalition (BCC) works on access and environmental impact in the area. Pack in/pack out and consider bringing WAG BAGS for waste removal in remote areas.
