A popular and accessible ice climbing destination located in the Mission Valley. The approach is relatively long, but the route is straightforward, leading to a massive, reliable wall of ice. The climbing is generally moderate, making it an excellent location for beginners and guided groups.
A tribal permit (conservation license) is required to access the area as it is on the Flathead Indian Reservation. Be aware of potential wildlife in the area.
