Moose Creek Flat Campground is located in scenic Gallatin Canyon on the Bozeman Ranger District of the Gallatin National Forest, in Montana. It is situated next to the Gallatin River near Moose Creek, just off Highway 191, at an elevation of 5,700 feet. The campground lies in an open meadow surrounded by a forest of pine and fir trees.
Bears frequent the area (food storage required). Firewood available for sale nearby. Overnight camping fee includes 2 cars or RV/Trailer and tow vehicle; additional vehicles are $9.00 each. No RV dump station or shower facilities are available.

Bear country & campcraft
This stop sits in classic Montana bear country. Store all attractants—food, trash, toiletries, cookware, and pet food—in a hard-sided vehicle, an IGBC-approved container, a provided bear box, or a proper hang. Never bring food or cooking clothes into the tent.
Campfires belong only in provided metal rings when restrictions allow. Drown, stir, and feel the ashes with the back of your hand before leaving or sleeping. In Stage II restrictions, open fires are banned even in developed sites—use a shut-off stove only.
